WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR? VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AT ST. ANDREW – JUNE 23 – 25, 2019
In a time and culture when many of us don’t even know the people who live in the house next door, Jesus presents us with a major challenge – love everyone, even the one who seems least likely to fit our mental image of “neighbor.” This summer’s Vacation Bible School will help us all explore the notion of neighbor as we gather on Sunday, June 23 through Tuesday, June 25. Each evening will begin with dinner together and will then offer programming for children, youth, and adults. There will be all the VBS pieces you’ve come to love: dinner together each night, singing, Bible stories, an intergenerational program for all ages, an adult program, and art, drama, and games workshops for the kids. Of course, we’ll also have a nursery for our youngest children. Co-directors Chelsea Foust, Sara Collins, and Karen Topping are already hard at work on plans, and you’ll be hearing more about it all as time draws closer. Please set this time apart on your busy schedules, and plan to bring YOUR neighbors, young and old!
