ASH WEDNESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER
FEBRUARY 14
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
All-you-can-eat!  Eat in or take out!

The Presbyterian Men will host their annual Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper at St. Andrew on Feb. 14 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The pancake supper is their largest fund-raising activity and donations will support various activities like St. Andrew youth mission trips. Buy your tickets early; they will be on sale at St. Andrew for three Sundays before the supper at $6.00/adult and $3.00/child. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the supper at the church. Join us for this all-you-can-eat meal of pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee. This year the supper falls on Valentine’s Day, so show some love for the activities the event will support. Please plan to come out to the event for some good food and good friendship. Bring your whole family; invite your neighbors and friends. If you have questions, contact Russell Richards, Presbyterian Men’s Moderator, at the contact us button below.

Next meeting - March 13 at 6 p.m.

Our speaker will be Mr. Pat Roberts, the Suffolk City Manager. We have had Pat give us an update on the major activities going on in Suffolk for the past couple of years, and he will do so again at our March meeting. His presentations always generate a lot of questions and discussion. Please mark this event on your calendar and plan to join the Presbyterian Men for this event. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. at St. Andrew. Dinner will be provided.

The St. Andrew Presbyterian Men’s group meets once a month on the second Tuesday of the month. All men are invited to participate, and we invite the ladies to join us for some of our meetings. We usually convene at St. Andrew at 6:00 PM on meeting nights, enjoy informal fellowship, have dinner around 6:30, have a devotional and tend to a little business after dinner, and finish with a presentation by a variety of speakers. Our speaker’s topics range from church activities and charitable causes to local issues of interest to the community. Annually, we sponsor the Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper at St. Andrew as our main fundraiser. The funds that we raise go mostly to sponsor the St. Andrew Youth. Our group provides volunteers to support a wide variety of St. Andrew activities and mission work. For a change of pace, we also sometimes conduct our meetings at local restaurants. When held at St. Andrew, our meals are usually catered by local restaurants or markets. All men are invited to join us. If interested please contact our moderator, Russell Richards, using the contact form below to be placed on the distribution list.
