Have you ever wondered how the churches down the road and across town do business? Our combined adult class during July and August will be exploring Christianity’s Family Tree: What Other Christians Believe and Why. Written and narrated by the Reverend Adam Hamilton, this study will look at eight different Christian traditions that are part of the family of the Christian faith. The class will examine one tradition each Sunday, so it will be easy to move in and out of class as summer schedules permit. The Christian traditions to be examined will be Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, Anglicanism, Baptists, Pentecostalism, and Methodism. Curtis Corl will lead the class, which will meet at 9:00 a.m., before the 10:00 a.m. combined summer worship service. The meeting space will be Room 204 on the second floor of the education building behind the main church building.
