One of our core ministry values is “Serving Christ by serving others in Christ’s name. The Service Committee and St. Andrew in Mission, with the help of team leaders and volunteers, sponsors and supports many opportunities to serve at St. Andrew and in our community. You will find many of these opportunities described in the "Care" drop-down menu. Explore these to see where God may be calling you.

The Welcome & Care Committee, formerly Congregational Care, will once again be sending our college students gift cards as a way of letting them know we are thinking about them and wishing them well on their final exams in May. Preparing for exams can be a stressful and overwhelming time for many. We would like to send each of them a $10 gift card so they can decompress and hopefully enjoy some social time during the studying process. A little fun time can go a long way! Next time you’re out, pick up a gift card to Chick fil-A, Starbucks, Subway … and place it in the office mail box of Harry Cross, Angela Snyder, or Carole Prince no later than April 15. Monetary donations will also be accepted for the committee to purchase gift cards. (Make checks payable to St. Andrew with a note Care Package Donation.) As always, we appreciate all you do and for your donations.
Please contact the church if you have any questions.

In scripture we are encouraged to pray without ceasing. Find out about our prayer ministry on the Caring for our Church Family page.

Finally, we care for the bodies that God has given each of us. We are grateful to our Parish Nurse, Amy Gray, whose blog, Temple Tips, guides all of us to healthier lifestyles.
